Portland, OR Protest 6–13–20

Sometimes you feel the Spirit of God while you lift your hands up in worship inside four enclosed walls, and sometimes you feel the Spirit of God while you lift your hands up chanting “Don’t Shoot” in a sea of protesters.

Sometimes prayer looks like hands folded, eyes closed, sitting pretty on a church pew, and sometimes it looks like screaming at the top of your lungs begging for justice on the streets.

Regardless of the situation, God is where the need is. Where the pain is. Where the hurt is. And today, He is here.
